Scope

Polaris Engineering provided support to Switch Power on multiple solar power projects located at existing oil-treating facilities.

Phase 1 of the scope included a total of seven (7) sites adjacent to existing oil battery locations. Five (5) sites are part of the Government of Canada ECCC Funding Program, and two (2) sites are part of SaskPower’s 2018 Power Generation Partner Program (PGPP). The solar arrays have been located and configured in such a manner that they are in close proximity to either the oil facility MCC’s (for ECCC sites) or existing SaskPower utility infrastructure (for PGPP sites).
